Post-hardcoreoví Pile se po šesti letech vrací do Prahy, v MeetFactory na podzim představí svou devátou desku Sunshine and Balance Beams𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙'𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙. Pile se zrodili ze sólového projektu kytaristy Ricka Maguirea okolo roku 2009 v živoucím prostředí bostonské DIY scény. Od kapelního debutu Magic Isn't Real z roku 2010 ve svém osobitě melancholickém zvuku, který mísí vlivy experimentálního rocku a post-hardcoreu, zkoumají dynamiku mezi momenty tísnivého ticha a katarzními explozemi hluku.
V Praze se naposledy představili v roce 2019 s vyhlášeným albem Green and Gray, letos na podzim se po šesti letech vrací s novou deskou Sunshine and Balance Beams, která vychází v srpnu. Pile ji popisují jako hudební manifest osobního růstu, přijímání nejistoty a hledání rovnováhy – jak v tvorbě, tak v životě.

Post-hardcore legends Pile return to Prague after six years, bringing their ninth studio album Sunshine and Balance Beams to MeetFactory in November
𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙'𝙨 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙗𝙖𝙣𝙙. Pile emerged from guitarist Rick Maguire’s solo project around 2009 in the vibrant DIY scene of Boston. Since their collective debut Magic Isn't Real in 2010, Pile have been pushing a singular melancholic sound that embraces the dynamic tension between moments of breathless silence and cathartic explosions of noise, blending elements of experimental rock and post-hardcore.
They last performed in Prague in 2019 with their acclaimed album Green and Gray, and this coming November, Pile return with their fresh LP Sunshine and Balance Beams, releasing in August. The album captures Pile at a moment of reflection — embracing uncertainty, rejecting expectations, and finding meaning in the act of creation itself.

Opening duties are in the hands of Belgian band HEISA who will perform in Prague for the very first time. Influenced by Black Midi, Tool, and Swans, they blends dissonance and thunderous drums in dark and intense live shows. HEISA will bring their new album TROIS to MeetFactory.
