Michelle Coyne is a NYC-based Pilates instructor originally from Cork, Ireland, with over five years of personal Pilates practice and formal mat certification completed earlier this year. Her approach is rooted in the belief that Pilates is for everyone - regardless of age, gender, and fitness levels, with every move offering options to modify or amplify so everyone gets exactly what they need.
She specializes in a Pilates + Sculpt hybrid style, blending the mindful foundations of traditional Pilates - core engagement, alignment, and controlled movement - with sculpt-inspired elements that challenge muscles in new ways, building strength, endurance, and functional mobility. Her approach is low-impact yet effective, leaving clients stronger, more mobile, balanced, and confident in their bodies.
Michelle has taught community-centered classes across NYC, including group and private sessions with Irish participants, creating warm, inclusive spaces where people can connect, move, and feel supported. She’s excited to bring her weekly classes to New York Irish Center, combining wellness, functional fitness, and a sense of community - and maybe even a bit of craic along the way!
