Every Thursday evening from 6.30-7.30pm my Mat Pilates class is suitable for all levels including beginners.
Pilates concentrates on developing core strength, improving flexibility and mobility,. It also helps improve body alignment and posture and can help iron out any imbalances and strengthen any weaknesses. Using a simple mat and other small equipment such as small balls and resistance bands, it's accessible to people of all fitness levels and ages.
It involves a series of controlled movements that engage the core muscles in a dynamic and mindful manner. In recent years Mat Pilates has gained immense popularity as a holistic fitness practice that not only helps you build strength but also promotes mind-body connection and helps reduce stress.
Though challenging, it's a safe way to sculpt your body and to increase your agility in your everyday movements.
Using a simple mat and some small equipment such as Pilates balls and resistance bands, it's accessible to people of all fitness levels and ages.
I provide modifications and progressions for the majority of the Pilates exercises so that everyone can work at their own level and progress at their own pace.
