Empowering Women Through Yoga and Pilates

Starting Tuesday, Janruary 14th th to Tuesday, February 4th
Four-Week Course (Join us In Studio or Live Online)

Recording is included so you get to practice twice or as many times a week if desired!

Time: 8:20 PM - 9:20 PM
Location: Yoga Next Door Studio

Join us for an hour-long class that includes a deep relaxation to finish each session. This course is designed for all women, regardless of experience or stage in life—whether you're a woman looking for a deeper understanding of what practice can help you connect to your body more, a new mother, have experienced pregnancy or not, or are simply looking to enhance your well-being.


Who Is This For?

This course welcomes women from all backgrounds and life stages, providing tools for healing on physical, mental, and emotional levels. You can participate from 6 weeks postpartum onward, no matter your child's age—yes, even if they’re an adult! Everyone is invited to discover the benefits of yoga and Pilates, including resistance training, which studies show is essential for building strength and overall wellness as a female.


What Will We Cover?


  • Breathwork: Techniques to enhance your breath and calm your mind.
  • Pelvic Floor Health: Breathing exercises and movements, whether in recovery or simply for maintenance. All women, including those with prolapse, are welcome.
  • Mobility: Safe stretches and movements for shoulders, spine, and hips.
  • Strength Building: Focus on glutes, abdomen, and pelvic floor integration, using resistance bands and other props as well as help build muscle mass throughout.
  • Stretching: Relieve tension, feel more fluid and less tight.
  • Weight bearing movement for all round bone health.

Also, should you be postpartum we can check for Diastasis Recti. Our course works very well in combination for those attending women's health physio appointments.


Props and Relaxation

Utilize bands, blocks, spikey balls, yoga belts, weights, Pilates balls and comfort props to enhance your practice. Each session will conclude with restorative yoga, promoting deep relaxation, soothing your nervous system, and providing precious quiet time for yourself. This will help you nurture others off the mat and encourage a better nights sleep.
