Pilates 101 workshop is designed for those looking to deepen their understanding of Pilates, in order to get the most out of their weekly classes. This workshop offers an exploration of the Pilates principles in a fun and relaxed environment.In this 2-hour session, we will breakdown the fundamentals of alignment, breath and core engagement as well as delving into the importance of concentration, control, precision and flow. There will be movement throughout, finishing with a short Pilates class suitable for all levels where you can directly apply what you have learned in the session.
Whether you are brand new to Pilates or a regular in class, Pilates 101 offers a supportive space to expand your knowledge so that you can safely and effectively perform exercises.
Bring a pen and paper if you would like to take notes, come in your active wear, and leave with a newfound confidence to take into your next class.
