Discussion with Meeka Kakudluk, Advocate for Inuit Culture, and Instructor at Nunavut Sivunaksivut college.
10:15 Inuit in Time and Place with Jushua Illauq
Discussion with Jushua Illauq elder, hunter, traveller, carver, craftsman and elder consultant for Isaruit Inuit Arts.
12:00 - 1:30 LUNCH TBA
1:30 - 3:30 Plenary meeting of Isaruit members with Ruben Komangapik, Vice –Chair of Isaruit & Beverly Illauq, Isaruit Centre Coordinator.
An Isaruit member is any artist or arts worker with an Isaruit profile, or who is planning to join Isaruit membership.
3:30 - 4:30 Special tour of the Gallery for participants
4:30 Closing ceremony
Closing remarks, extinguishing the qulliq, with presentation and gifts.
