Join our workshop series and learn how to extract pigment from plants and create your own natural crayons! 🌸🌿 In this two-part workshop, facilitated by artist and architect Enni Heinä, we will create pigment powder from plants using a technique called ‘lake pigmenting’, and create crayons out of the resulting pigment and natural waxes 🐝
By the end of the second session, all participants will have their own handmade crayons in three different colors. Different types of test papers will be provided to try out your crayons 🖍
🗓Dates: 9.11 (pigment extraction from plants) and 30.11 (making crayons) at 12.00-15.00
📍Place: Tampere Intercultural Art Space, Pirkankatu 10
🎟Price: 55 e (includes all materials, teaching, workshop facilities, and possibility to participate the With Plants -exhibition at Tampere Intercultural Art Space)
