Piffaro, - an acclaimed Renaissance wind band – explores musical immigration during the time of Henry VIII. Striving to make London an important center of arts and culture, the king sent his agents to scour Europe for artists and musicians to bring to court, including the Bassanos of Venice. The wind players of Piffaro presents the musical story of this family.
An internationally celebrated ensemble, Piffaro, the Renaissance Band is in its 4th decade.
