TVs of Terror returns for their fourth season opener with a whopper of a show and an even bigger whopper of movie. On Sept. 24th, prepare yourself for one of the weirdest, sleaziest films to ever emerge from Spain. Master genre director Juan Piquer Simon (SLUGS) returns to the TVs of Terror fold with his 1982 gorefest PIECES.
On a Boston university campus, female students are being dismembered one by one, with some body parts even going missing. But one detective, an FBI agent, and an intrepid student are on the case. The agent volunteers to go undercover as the new tennis teacher, and the cop and the student use her insights to locate the chainsaw wielding maniac before he reduces the student body to PIECES.
We're excited to bring you not only a great piece of horror history but also a wild and crazy show to boot. The TVs gang is going on a jungle cruise with uber-nemesis-turned-unlikely-ally "Big Vic" Toledo in hopes of locating a rumored buried treasure in the Amazon or something like that. Who knows?! We're stoked to be working with a local video crew to create a new short film component to compliment the live show, as well as film the whole performance.
