⭐We invite you to join the sixth workshop organised around P.I.E. (Performative Impro Encounters).
This time hosted by the organiser of P.I.E., Eva Mora
Besides our monthly instant composition evenings, we want to encourage everyone to dive in the world of performing improvisation.
Feel welcomed to this series of workshops led by inspiring international improvisers.
Description:
Starting from dancing, we will work with physical principles, movement and sound in different performative settings.
The workshop will focus mainly on opening questions that surround the space of performative improvisation, aiming to expand our resources and to bring new strategies that can support our practice.

where do you place your attention when improvising?
what are the challenges of a free form for you?
The aim is to re-discover and share our choices, searching for a common space where we can all thrive and enjoy our creative potential (individually and as a group). We might start from our own experiences on improvisation (even if they're little), and move into group / ensemble practices.
What is instant composition?: "It’s the practice of learning to listen to space, movement, an object, music, the state of oneself, and allowing it to lead them into the creation of a piece instantaneously. It’s a constant dialogue between the performer and everything around them." - Quizzical Körper
About Eva:
Eva is a dance artist whose work blends performance, creative collaboration, and space-holding. In her work she explores the body as a site of dialogue, inviting a sense of aliveness, lightness, and deep receptivity. She is the initiator of P I E, meetings where improvisers from different fields come together to play, every month since 2024. She has been working around improvisation for the last 6 years, with different international ensembles.

What to bring: comfortable clothes, musical instrument if you're musician... also, it's recommended to bring a notebook (something where to write your personal notes)
