About this Event
Museums can be inspiring but overwhelming too. How can we unlock the connections we feel to people, objects and stories through taking a closer look?
In this interactive workshop, participants will use photography and slow looking to explore how to create a personal and visual museum experience and consider different perspectives.
The ideas are rooted in current research that investigates how art and culture can improve mental health. The workshop is designed for young people aged 16-24 and is led by staff from the Ashmolean Museum and the Dept of Psychiatry at the University of Oxford alongside young people from the ORIGIN project.
