In conjunction with JVs Restaurant, The DC BluegrassUnion(Carolyn Eyerly and Matt Slocum) and
COBOMA(Brandon Lindley) there are two special events
coming in the new year. JVs will be hosting a bluegrass
promotional series on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025 from 1-6pm
featuring three bands(see attached flyer) and on Sunday,
Feb. 16, 2025(flyer forthcoming), same format on both
days. (There is a possibility for a third Sunday)
This is an effort to find a permanent venue for bluegrass
music similar to the "good ole days" at Tiffany Tavern in
Old Town where it was live bluegrass every Friday and
Saturday night.
Lorraine, owner of JVs has graciously given us these two
days to not only hear some of the local bluegrass talent
but to also assess the turnouts. It is a golden opportunity
to finally have a local place with ample parking(short
walk to the front door), good food and no cover charge.
