Want to give back to the place you call home but aren't quite sure how? A great place to start is helping to share the responsibility of caring for the land, which includes picking up trash!
This is part of a monthly, one-hour, mini trash bash in Picton. From June to October, Feral Folc and the Picton BIA are working in partnership to host gatherings for anyone interested and able to help tidy up around town.

October 29 (6pm)
Everyone is welcome. There is no fee to participate.
Bonus: we’ll share historical and botanical facts along the way!
Double Bonus: the kind folks at Gabriel Pizza (recently opened at 135 Main Street in Picton) are offering a complimentary $10 coupon for anyone who attends a pick-up event! 🍕

Thanks to the Picton BIA, all garbage and recycling bags, gloves, hand-sanitizer, bag tags, and snacks are supplied. We will ensure that all the waste collected is properly disposed of.
Just bring yourself dressed to be outdoors rain or shine and safely pick up garbage - you may wish to bring your own supplies, wagon, or pick up sticks.

Meet us at outside the Picton BIA office (at the Regent Theatre) for 6pm. We'll walk together to the street(s)/location(s) for pick-up. This month we're focusing on Main Street, going to the town hill, then all the way to the LCBO and back. We may or may not be asking skill testing questions about how many prior businesses you can name for certain buildings :)
If you’re late or lost you can text Becky at 613-503-1309
