Our very first party — so you don’t know what to expect, and honestly, neither do we. What can we promise? Actual fun. Talk about it for days and remember it when you’re 80 fun. The sort of fun promoters delivered before they got all serious.
Actually, we lie… This is not our first party. Our first party was in 1993. We just took a break when the drugs stopped working and we went and got jobs and stuff… but we can’t take it anymore. We’re throwing a party to make other parties better – then we can retire again. It will take till Autumn. So, buckle up.
PSI – SALT – PM PROGRESSIONS and a Mystery Guest (totally real) – will be playing a euphoric mix of house genres, rave and electro spanning the 30 years they’ve been spinning. No soulless machine murder music here (tip of the undertaker’s hat to Modular in Cape Town). Only smiles, smirks and grins. Plus, Fun Police, Fun Rewards, silliness and more… so come for sundowners, take a table and dance until someone takes you home or throws you out.

ABOUT THE VENUE: The renovated Troyeville Hotel offers great Portuguese food, an incredible rooftop bar protected from the elements, amazing city views, golden sunsets as well as accommodation.
FOOD + DRINKS – Full bar until 2am. Delicious food menu available till 10pm.
PARKING – The Troyeville Hotel maintains security personnel stationed at both its front and back entrances. For your convenience, we recommend parking on Wilhelmina Street, located at the rear of the hotel. Front entrance is perfect for Uber / Bolt / taxi drop-offs and pickups and is an official drop-off and pickup zone on all the apps.
ROOFTOP ACCESS – We have both stair and elevator access to the rooftop.
ROOFTOP VENUE – While we take pride in offering some of the most stunning Jozi skyline views, please note that this venue is outdoors. As the sun sets, temperatures may drop and, while we have heating, we advise you to bring something warm to ensure your comfort throughout the event.
