Welcome to the Ignite Youth Sports Pickleball League hosted by Howland United Methodist Church! Our league provides a fantastic opportunity for children in 3rd through 12th grade to participate in a fun and engaging pickleball program.Program Overview:
Ages: 3rd - 12th Grade
Season: January 22nd-March 13th
Practices: Thursdays or Fridays
Thursdays 7:15-8:15pm interm/adv 6th-8th GRADES
Thursdays 8:15-9:15pm high school 9th-12th GRADES
Fridays 5:00-6:00pm beginner 3rd-5th GRADES
Fridays 6:00-7:00pm interm/adv 3rd-5th GRADES
Fridays 7:00pm-8:00PM beginner 6th-8th GRADES
Games: End of Season Tournament
Focus: Fundamental pickleball skills and character development
Minimally Competitive Environment
Program Highlights:
Fundamental Pickleball Skills: Participants will learn and improve their fundamental pickleball skills. Our experienced coaches will provide age-appropriate instruction to ensure each player develops their abilities.
Character Development: We believe in the holistic development of our participants. Along with pickleball skills, we incorporate weekly devotion lessons to instill values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and perseverance. Our goal is to help children grow not only as athletes but as individuals of strong character.
Registration Details: Early registration is available for $35 until January 15th. The registration fee includes a t-shirt, 8 weeks of instruction with an end-of-season tournament. Don't miss the chance to secure your spot!
