Now in our 29th year, Pickin' on the Plains is an outdoor acoustic music festival featuring Appalachian Road Show, The Grascals, Hot Club of Cowtown, Driven, The John Depew Trio, McLemore Experience and Dirt Roads of Gospel Music, as well as kick-off potluck and jams Thursday, May 29 at 6;30 pm. Also features open-stage with youth showcase focus on Sat. am, kids crafts and games, "Kid Instrument Discovery Zone", workshops with professional bands, and Bluegrass Gospel Homecoming on Sunday morning! Shows rain or shine! All this in a friendly, small-town atmosphere where our bluegrass family continues to grow annually. Come join the fun, we can't wait to see you!
