Despite fifteen months of Israel committing genocide against Palestinians, in both Gaza and the West Bank, local steel manufacturer, Bisalloy Steel continues to arm Israel with its armour plate steel.Wollongong Friends of Palestine are calling our fifth community picket of Bisalloy Steel.
Our community picket will be collective form of direct action. We want as many people as possible to come together on Friday, 21st February to block the gates and disrupt operations.
The picket is its own democratic political space. We share a common goal to blockade Bisalloy, but there are many ways to do this, and different tactics are a strength. Everyone is an active participant and decisions will be made by those present. The most effective way to do this is to come prepared.
Please join us from 5:45AM-- we are going to try to hold this picket for as long as possible.
