This dahlia season we are thrilled to announce that we will be partnering with Rural Alive & Well (RAW).
All money from ticket sales for this event will be donated to this worthy Tasmanian not-for-profit organisation.
RAW delivers genuine and authentic, early intervention suicide prevention for rural and remote communities.
The team at Little Forest Gardens are proud to be able to contribute to this amazing organisation which provides such a valuable resource to our Tasmanian rural communities.
Pick Your Own is simple! We provide you with a gorgeous glass mason jar & you fill it up whilst you enjoy the stunning countryside at Little Forest Gardens - 10km south of Cressy.
Bring nothing - we will provide you with a glass jar to fill & take home and lend you some cutting snips. We will fill your container with water to ensure your dahlias stay fresh & beautiful for as long as nature will allow.
Take your time. This is the fun part! Walk the patch & see all the varieties of dahlias available before you begin cutting.
Other Little Forest filler flowers will be available to add to your dahlias to finish your jars off beautifully.
$50 per filled mason jar - proceeds of ticket sales donated to Rural Alive & Well.
Appropriate footwear & clothing is essential!
All weather event - if it is raining bring your umbrella & coat!!
Delicious Little Forest Gardens honey will be available to taste & purchase (EFTPOS available)
