Pianist Eunseon Ahn is establishing herself as an engaging soloist and collaborative artist, praised for her expressive interpretations and stylistic versatility. She recently won first prize at a competition (Sounds of the Land of Fire) organized by the Azerbaijan Academic Association in Vienna, leading to a fully funded concert tour in Azerbaijan in September 2026. This coming November, she will appear in the Florida Keys Competition Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall, featuring works by Azerbaijani composers.
Eunseon has performed widely across the United States, Europe, and Asia, appearing at venues such as Van Cliburn Hall, Pepsico Hall, and in the Gijon International Piano Festival Gala Concert in Spain, the Steinway & Sons Concert Series in Seoul, and as soloist with the Seoul Orchestra.
An avid chamber musician and collaborator, she has participated in prestigious programs such as the Bowdoin International Music Festival (Collaborative Piano Fellowship), the Texas Chamber Music Institute, the Edward Auer Summer Piano Workshop, and the SNU Debussy Workshop. She has also performed in masterclasses and workshops with renowned artists including Gilead Mishory (Debussy Images) and Thomas Hell (Ligeti Études).
Dedicated to education as well as performance, Eunseon serves as an Associate Instructor as well as an instructor for the Jacobs Virtual Academy. She is currently pursuing the Doctor of Music in Piano Performance and Literature at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, holds a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, and earned her Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude, from Seoul National University.
