Haiou Zhang, born in 1984 in China, is a highly accomplished pianist with a diverse musical background. He began his musical journey at the Central Conservatory in Beijing and later continued his studies at Hanover University of Music, Drama, and Media under the tutelage of Prof. Bernd Goetzke.

Haiou Zhang is Music Director and Founder of International Music Festival Buxtehude / Altes Land / Harburg in Northern Germany, which is aimed primarily at young audiences. The festival has become one of the most successful classical music institutions in metropolitan Hamburg.

Haiou Zhang has brought to life and immortalised the illustrious works of master composers Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, and Liszt feature on 3 CD albums recorded by Zhang on the C. Bechstein D282 - "Liszt Piano Works" (2011), "Fingerprints" (2017), and "My 2020" (2021).

About The Recital

World-renowned pianist Haiou Zhang is set to dazzle Singapore with his third recital, showcasing a diverse selection of compositions by Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Schumann, and Liszt.

Prepare to embark on a captivating journey through the realms of classical music, guided by Zhang's masterful performance on the C. Bechstein D282 Concert Grand Piano. This concert serves as a grand finale to C. Bechstein's 170th Anniversary Celebration Concert Series, promising a night filled with emotional depth and artistic brilliance.
