Come and enjoy a musical soirée filled with an enchanting fusion of the 3 big B’s of classics – Bach, Beethoven, and Brahms, performed by the talented duo Yeva Volkava (violin) and Roxanna Shini-Mehrabzadeh (piano).
The programme kicks off with Bach's groundbreaking sonata, originally composed for baroque violin and harpsichord, setting the stage for an extraordinary evening. Beethoven's 1st sonata follows, marking the transition from classicism to romanticism. The journey reaches its pinnacle with Brahms' last sonata, a symphonic masterpiece that foreshadows the 20th century, concluding with a contemporary composition that resonates with the pulse of modern times.

PERFORMERS

Yeva Volkava, from Belarus, is a talented violin player known for her skill and emotion in music. She started playing violin when she was very young and trained at top music schools in Europe. Yeva is known for playing a wide range of music, from old classics to new pieces, and is especially good at playing violin sonatas with great feeling and precision. She has won awards in music competitions and has played in concerts all over the world, impressing audiences with her beautiful violin playing.

Roxanna Shini-Mehrabzadeh, a British-Iranian pianist, is recognized for her beautiful and skilled piano playing. She started learning piano as a child in the UK and studied at famous music schools. Roxanna is known for playing with great emotion and skill, especially music from the Romantic period. She is also excellent at playing piano duets, where she works well with other musicians to create beautiful music. Roxanna has played piano in many important concerts in Europe and the UK, earning praise for her clear, expressive, and technically brilliant performances.
