The upcoming concert features an exceptional trio formation, showcasing a diverse and captivating myriad of sound colors. Maura Marinucci and Nadja Nevolovitsch - respectively solo clarinet and leader of the 1st violins of Brussels Philharmonic and concert pianist based in Brussels Monika Dars will perform Milhaud's Suite Op. 157b, a trio piece renowned for its use of rhythm and melody, and its incorporation of jazz elements.Clarinetist Maura Marinucci will then take the stage to perform Brahms' Sonata op 120, with its beautiful and lyrical first movement. The program continues with Bruch's selection of three pieces from his '8 Pieces' Op.83, showcasing the composer's lyrical and Romantic style.
Pianist Monika Dars will then perform Liszt's 'Sonetto 104 del Petrarca,' a powerful and emotional piece that highlights the virtuosity of the performer. The concert will conclude with Stravinsky's 'Histoire du Soldat,' a landmark work in the genre of chamber music.
