About this Event

Pianist John Urban and Violist Dwayne Beach will be presenting a hybrid recital full of Viola and Piano works by Nicolò Paganini, William Walton, a living female composer Amanda Harberg and an original transcription of a gem for violin once forgotten by Cesar Espejo in their Consorto Accademico.

He has written and performed music for the stage, with his 2014 score to Silent Theatre Co.'s production of Nosferatu called "masterful" (Chicago Theatre Review) and "invaluable" (Chicago Reader). He is currently an active performer, teacher and director in New York City, with recent appearances in Music at Columbia University, the Triad Theatre, Rockwood Music Hall, St. John in the Village and Feinstein 54 Below.
