The story of Monk Abel's public musical career is particularly intriguing. In 2017, he was part of the monastic brotherhood at the Dochiariou Monastery on Saint Mount Athos. There, while fulfilling his monastic duties, he had access to a special piano to cultivate his musical talent. Initially, he played during his free time between long liturgical services, private prayer rule, and labor in service of the monastery. However, the abbot of Dochiariou, Gerondas Grigory (Zumis), personally blessed him to give live concerts around the world and online.
