March 14th or 3.14 is known as Pi Day and we are excited once again to celebrate! Pi, also written Ο, is the Swiss Army knife of numbers. No matter how big or small a circle β from the size of the universe to the size of an apple pie to the size of a carbonation bubble β the ratio of a circleβs circumference to its diameter is always equal to pi or 3.14.If you write 3.14 on a piece of paper and look at it in the mirror it
spells Pie! Math nerds, athletics that geek out about Garmin doodles, local pie lovers and craft beer drinkers meet Pi Day at Ozark Beer Company - a day to celebrate it all.
Along with our regular selection of beers and the ever rotating small batch options, starting at 3.14 pm we will be serving up some of our area's tastiest pies from Gooseberry Handmade Pies and Wicked Wood will be slinging pizza pies.
The fun continues at 6pm with a 3.14 mile run and family friendly bike ride from the brewery. NWA No Drop Cycling will be leading the bike ride and Benton County Running Club will lead the run. No one will be left behind and this will be a wonderful way to connect with these clubs. All ages and fitness levels welcome. Stay tuned for future details.
