Physical Literacy Festival- Year 1/2

Physical Literacy can be described as the motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding that provides children with the movement foundation for lifelong participation in physical activity. Enabling them to be physically literate supports their development as competent, confident and healthy movers.

This event will cater to provide a multi-skill environment developing gross motor skills of individuals and provide exposure to children so they can enjoy taking part in physical activity.

Each school can bring 10 pupils from a mix of Y1/Y2 and there is no requirement of boy/girl ratio, however we encourage you to provide a variety of pupils with this opportunity.

We will offer some scoring stations with personal bests tasks.
