About this Event
Let's hop on a ferry and head towards Bainbridge Island. Ferries are quite photogenic, we can find a variety of stories, seeking shapes of light and shadow, and much more. We will also have pretty views of the Seattle Skyline, Bainbridge Island, and Elliott Bay.
We will board the 7:20 PM ferry, explore and take photos while we are en route to Bainbridge, then depart the ferry when it docks in Bainbridge.
The group will hop back in line to board the same boat back (8:10 PM), to capture more images on the way back, during golden hour and sunset.
Sunset is at 8:21 PM on August 21st.
WHERE TO MEET
7:00 PM - Meet at the Seattle Ferry Terminal
7:20 PM - Depart on the 7:20 PM AM ferry to Bainbridge
8:10 PM - Depart on the 8:10 PM Ferry back to Downtown Seattle
It's about a 35-minute ride each way.
Please arrive at the ferry terminal early enough to buy your ticket, you can also purchase a ticket online, Kate will plan to arrive at the terminal no later than 7:00 PM.
We recommend you plan to walk onto the ferry, instead of driving. The vehicle line to return could be too long to make that immediate return trip.
There is street parking in the area and a few parking lots along the waterfront. Also, consider public transportation if that is easier for you.

WHAT TO BRING
- Camera (digital or film) with at least one fully charged battery
- A lens of your choice, wide-angle's can be cool for broader landscapes.
- Layers - Seattle weather is a little unpredictable

Open to all levels of photographers, and all types of cameras, from DSLRs and Mirrorless to Film and Smart Phones.
