[Photo]synthesis

This event is an initiative of the Golden Plains Youth Activation Comittee (YAC), a group for young people aged 12-25 focusing on advocacy and youth leadership. YAC aim to raise awareness of our local environment to promote sustainability through expert talks, a guided walk, and a flora and fauna scavenger bingo - featuring prizes for rare finds!

The event will feature guest speakers Bianca Fammartino from Leigh Catchment Group and Emily Noble from BirdLife Australia.

Photosynthesis will take place from 10am - 12:30pm on Sunday the 1st of December, at Clarkesdale Bird Sanctuary, Happy Valley. A light morning tea will be provided.

Please note that the trail walks are graded a level 2, and a moderate level of fitness and mobility is required
