FAQs

Where does the course depart from/ return to?

We depart from and return to the museum foyer.

What else does the workshop include?

This workshop includes our ferry trip to Cockatoo island return and about 4 hours on the island exploring the amazing historic spaces there. When we get back to the museum in the afternoon we visit the museum exhibitions including Wildlife Photographer for inspiration while we plan for our showcase exhibition of best photos of the day.

Can I bring my own SLR camera?

All camera equipment is provided for this workshop so you actually don't need to own or bring anything, and we would encourage you to use the equipment we have on hand. If you are really keen to bring your own device, you can do so and the facilitators will do their best to support your learning using that model/make of camera.
