Photography Walk - Members Only

Are you looking to connect with nature and express your creativity through photography? Join us for an exciting photography workshop led by Kate Green, a skilled photographer who specialises in helping people realise their creative potential through the camera.

In this workshop, Kate will guide us through the basics of taking better photos with your phone or camera. She will also introduce the concept of mindful or slow photography, encouraging you to slow down, observe your surroundings, and capture the beauty of nature more intentionally.

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to put your newfound skills into practice as we take a walk through the woods. Kate will be on hand to provide guidance and support, helping you to see the world through a fresh lens and capture stunning images that reflect your unique perspective.

After the walk, we will gather back at the pavilion for a Q&A session and a chance to share and discuss the photos you have taken. You will be encouraged to reflect on what your photos and the experience have meant to you, helping you to connect more deeply with the natural world and your own creative self.

What to Bring

Photography Workshop Agenda

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Introduction to Better Photography

· Meet at the function room

· Introduction to taking better photos with your phone or camera

· Discuss exposure, focus, and composition

· Brief introduction to mindful/slow photography

· Connecting to nature through the camera

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Nature Walk

· Take a walk around the woods

12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Q&A and Picture Sharing

· Return to the pavilion

· Q&A session

· Share and discuss photos taken during the walk

· Debrief on the workshop experience

1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Wrap-up

· Conclude the workshop by 1:30 PM
