About this Event
Date: 29 September 2022, Thursday
Time: 7pm - 8.30pm
In this 90-minute sharing session, Grant Rayner will teach you how to get high quality results with photography in challenging environments.
What do we mean by challenging environments? Locations with active threats, high levels of corruption and poor (or non-existent) infrastructure. These are the types of locations where you can get yourself into serious trouble if you aren't careful or haven’t properly prepared.
He will cover the following topics:
1. How to prepare and what gear to pack
2. How to avoid unwanted attention when taking photos
3. Different photography techniques you can use to capture high quality photos in difficult conditions
During the session, he will share stories, photos and lessons learned the hard way from trips to Syria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Somalia, Lebanon and others.
