Explore Aylesbury Through the Eyes of Its Community: A Photography Challenge this July & August
This summer, the heart of Aylesbury is set to come alive with creativity as residents of all ages are invited to capture and celebrate the town through photography. Today there are so many ways to take a photo.
Whether you’re a child enchanted by a favourite spot in the town centre, a teen eager to share your most cherished corner, or an adult appreciating Aylesbury’s unique architecture and natural beauty, this competition is your chance to showcase the town from your perspective.
Competition Details
Open to all, free to enter, and judged by none other than the Town Mayor and the owner of Snappy Snaps Aylesbury, during an exhibition at Discover Bucks Museum, this event offers three distinct age categories:
- Children (Ages 12 and under) – Share your favourite place in Aylesbury town centre.
- Teens (Ages 13-17) – Express what makes your special town centre spot meaningful to you.
- Adults (Ages 18 and over) – Highlight the natural beauty of Aylesbury, with a focus on its most striking buildings and structures.
A Celebration of Aylesbury
This isn’t just a competition—it’s a chance to immerse yourself in your surroundings and reflect on what makes Aylesbury special to you. The possibilities of hosting a small exhibition of submitted photos is being explored, ensuring that the community gets to admire the brilliant perspectives of its residents.
