Mel's Metal Marathon! It is HAPPENNING! Thanks to the overwhelming number of bands and artists that have reached out to play at this event, we have a Marathon indeed! We are up to 8 bands and counting. The reality is that this is an all-day and possibly 2-night financial drive to help our friend and Brother in Metal and pillar of this music community, Mel C Kruger, AKA, Skulldaber. He needs to update and upgrade his home medical equipment to keep him healthy and mobile so he can be there, up front with his horns held high and that big Mel grin, having the time of his life supporting us, the music community. The community he calls family and attends as many shows as his body and chair will allow him. Mel, like most of us, has pride and dignity, so this is not an ask for a few dollars to help a friend. This is an announcement that we will be calling on our music community to dig deep and help us raise more money than we have raised to date for all our charities combined. This is a call to all the bands Mel has supported through the years. Come, donate at least a 1/2 hour set to help raise not only money, but the spirits of a Brother who's gone down in the melee.
