Our local community of traditional storytellers continue their monthly series of Phoenix Folklore Friday! The evening is curated by Chrissy and Rachelle Dart, featuring traditional storytellers and tunesmiths from around the Valley and the South Mountain Community College Storytelling Institute.
For May, the theme will be "The Otherworld-The Veil Is Thinner Than You Think"! We will enjoy stories and songs inspired by this topic (you will be delightfully surprised at the variety and tone of stories shared!). Come and enjoy an evening of Traditional Tales and Tunes that are sure to uplift our spirits and bring us into a dance which goes beyond ourselves.
We will have two glorious hours together to reconnect with each other, honor the past, and the year to come.
The evening will commence at 8:00pm, doors at 7:30pm. There will be a break between the two hours to grab a cup of tea, coffee or hot cocoa and a snack. Come to the first half, the second half, or stay for the whole time!
In Joyful Anticipation,
Chrissy and Rachelle Dart
$10 at door, cash or card. KN95 or N95 masks are required to be worn properly while inside the venue (except for each artist while presenting). Come enjoy the story and song, and enjoy an evening of connection and community, and join in to celebrate Fiddler's Dream's 37th Anniversary year of showcasing acoustic music, storytelling, poetry, and spoken word! We offer seriously strong brewed coffee, cocoa, soft drinks, teas, and of course water. Drinks are only a dollar!
