Has your child experienced a stressful medical event or received a new chronic illness diagnosis in the past year? Is your child between 6 and 12 years old? Phoenix Children’s psychology team is hosting a one-session narrative-informed support group, as part of a clinical research study, to help children tell their medical stories by making a poster or short story. Art supplies will be provided.Phoenix Children’s “My Story Project” Workshop will be held on Thursday, Apr. 25, from 4:30 – 6 p.m., at Phoenix Children’s Conference Center (2632 N. 20th St., Phoenix, AZ 85006). Complimentary parking will be available at the Cambridge Parking Garage.
