Resilience, Resistance, and Reimagining Community

The old ways of dominance, control, toxic patriarchy, and rugged independence are no longer working. The need for grounded, clear, relational leadership has never been greater. Men of all ages, backgrounds, and life-experiences are being called to step forward into their power in new ways to co-create a new paradigm of healthy masculine leadership.

In our modern world, we as men face many inner and outer challenges — climate crisis, addiction, political and social mistrust, economic pressures, family tension, lack of healthy role models, fear and uncertainty, etc. — and we are all being asked the same question:

What are healthy masculine responses to life challenges and in times of crisis?

What some have called a “crisis of masculinity” can also be seen as an invitation — a threshold moment where men are called to heal from inherited roles, embrace a fuller emotional range, and lead not just with strategy, but with presence and heart. This is not about abandoning strength, but about expanding what strength means.

The role of men in leadership is undergoing a necessary evolution — from a emphasis on control, provision, and decisiveness to a broader, more integrated expression of strength that includes emotional awareness, relational depth, and adaptive flexibility.

As men committed to examining and adopting emerging new roles—in relationships, in our communities, and within ourselves—this gathering offers opportunities for men to examine our patterns and ways we have limited ourselves and support and redefine masculinity in ways that value relational skills, caregiving, and collaborative approaches, alongside strength and competence.

It is in this time of immense societal pressure, we are being asked to rise to the occasion together to lead our selves, families, communities, and world with clarity, direction, love, presence, and attunement.
