**Workshop Details:**
- **Date:** July 5-6, and July 19-20
- **Time:** 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM each day
- **Location:** Liberation War Museum, Agargaon, Dhaka
**Workshop Schedule:**
- **Day 1:** Introduction to Network Security Monitoring and Analysis
- **Day 2:** Network Security Analysis and Intrusion Detection
- **Day 3:** Deep Dive Network Security Monitoring and Threat Detection
- **Day 4:** Threat Hunting and Detection In-Depth
**What You Will Be Able to Do:**
- Set up and configure network monitoring and intrusion detection systems.
- Capture, analyze, and interpret network traffic to identify potential security threats.
- Deploy and configure Suricata & Zeek for comprehensive network security monitoring.
- Create and implement custom detection rules and scripts in Suricata & Zeek.
- Conduct thorough analysis of network logs to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Develop and execute effective threat hunting playbooks and scenarios.
- Perform real-world threat hunting exercises, analyze incidents, and document findings and responses.
**Prerequisites:**
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, routing)
- Familiarity with basic cybersecurity concepts
- Preliminary knowledge of operating systems (Windows/Linux)
**Laptop Requirements:**
- Minimum 8 GB of RAM
- Minimum Core i5/i7 processor
- 160 GB of free space
- Wireless networking
- USB port supported
- BIOS setting enabled for virtualization technology
