Rama, his wife Sita, and Laksmana were exiled from Ayodhya. On their journey, they encountered Ravana, the demon king, who fell in love with Sita's beauty and abducted her. Sita was taken to Lanka, Ravana's palace. Rama, with the aid of the brave Hanuman, set out to rescue Sita.
