The Event
For those in the Phish community who want to keep the melodic jams going after their first night's performance at the historic Hollywood Bowl, walk .7 miles south of the Bowl down Highland Ave. to Ovation at Hollywood & Highland. There, upstairs in Suite 200 (The Venue of Hollywood), you'll join the the world's premiere Zappa tribute band - One Shot Deal - in an intimate setting while they perform selected works from Frank Zappa's vast and amazing catalogue!!
This event will start around 11pm and go until around 2am (it's not a 1/2 hour as it says above :)!), with an onsite bar and lounge, two small balcony areas overlooking iconic Hollywood Blvd and a patio to get a little fresh air when needed.
WaterWheel and Phema.org
This event will provide proceeds to two Phish-related support foundations : Phema and Waterwheel. Phema is a newly-launched mutual aid social network and community home for the Phish fanbase. Those in need can find assistance, connect with resources, and get involved at Phema.org.
The WaterWheel Foundation is an ongoing resource group founded in 1997 that inspires supporters to create positive change. The WWF is currently sponsoring a fundraising initiative to help victims of the Los Angeles area wildfires with a trip and tickets to a city and show on the upcoming Spring tour!

One Shot Deal
The band is comprised of members from the Grammy-winning band Zappa Plays Zappa, and toured extensively together for over 7 years. As many of you know, Frank Zappa is a heavy influence on Phish, and they occasionally perform covers of Frank's work at their live shows. The Zappa bond is strong!

Getting Here!
If you're commuting to the Bowl, you can use the LA metro subway red-line to get to Hollywood & Highland very easily, as the station is directly below the Ovation complex. It's a .7 mile walk up to the Bowl. The last train departs at 12:35am though, so you'll have to ride share/taxi after the show. There is ample parking at Ovation - and the all day & night fee is only $20 - so if you drive there, you can leave your car as long as you want - walk up to the Phish show and walk back to One Shot Deal, easy peasy!
