About this Event
The Philosophers' Yard invites you to our next thought-provoking Meetup, where we'll explore the topic of Inner Peace.
In this session, we’ll explore how acceptance can help us to navigate the unpredictability of life and the universe. We shall explore the concept of Amor Fati, or "the love of fate," and how we can implement this into our lives. We shall also draw on therapeutic tools and teachings from Christianity and Buddhism, to discover practical ways to accept the things we cannot change, find gratitude in what we can change, and nurture the wisdom to know the difference.
This session will feature a talk from Sean Mutiso, a law graduate with a deep foundation in philosophy, theology, and post-colonial literature, and the author of the blog, Meditations of Carlsefn.
The event will take place on Thursday 21st November at Exhale Conscious Bar, a new alcohol-free venue located in the Birmingham city centre, chosen to foster positive choices and well-being. The ambiance is perfect for connecting with others who, like you, are searching for deeper understanding and meaningful connections.
Entry is free but please register via the link below. We hope you’re able to join us!
