The Regrets of the Dying and the Dreams of the Living
As we get closer to that special time of year, when the veil between life and death grows thin, we invite you to join us for our annual Halloween special Talk and Tour at the beautiful Graceland Cemetery.
Inspired by Bronnie Ware’s book The Top Five Regrets of the Dying, this talk invites us to reflect on the wisdom of those who have reached life’s final checkpoint - what they wish they had done differently, and what these lessons can awaken in us, the living.
The talk will be followed by a guided philosophical walk through Graceland Cemetery, where stories, silence, and symbols remind us of the mystery and beauty of lives that were well lived...
Speaker: Gilad Sommer, Philosopher, Writer, Director of New Acropolis Chicago
The 1 hour talk will be followed by a philosophical and mindful tour of the cemetery grounds.
