Join PUFF at 2223 Fish for an encore10th anniversary screening of the criminally underseen cult film, MOTIVATIONAL GROWTH followed by live music and a party!
A reclusive 30-something loser finds himself taking advice from a mold growing in his bathroom after a failed suicide attempt -- starring Jeffery Combs (RE-ANIMATOR) as The Mold. Infused with 8-bit energy, lo-fi worship, and surreal fungal imagery, MOTIVATIONAL GROWTH begs to be seen on the big screen – and the PUFF team is delighted to welcome director Don Thacker (founder of Imagos Films), actor Pete Giovagnoli, and Philadelphia native, star Adrian DiGiovanni for a tell all Q&A. Imagos Films is best known for their Devolver Digital video game and press conference promos – including the viral Jazzpunk trailer.
Following the screening, we'll have a band (TBA), snacks, and beverages! Award winners for PUFF8 will be announced, and we'll dance the night away. Join us at 2223 FISH (2223 East Dauphin Street, Philadelphia, PA) for a night filled with cult cinema, music, and crazy good vibes.
