The concert will also be livestreamed at https://youtube.com/live/ZaLpeCbFbtE?feature=sharePianist/composer Philip Daniel will perform a concert for the benefit of the LMTA Music Outreach Program at 7pm, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Unitarian Church of Lincoln, 6300 A Street. Doors will open at 6:30 pm for general seating. A free will offering will be collected at the door, or may be made at the donate button at www.LMTA.info.
Daniel will perform two 30-minute sets with a ten-minute intermission and will talk about his compositions and life as a composer/performer. There will be a post concert reception. His CDs will be available for purchase, and Daniel will be available for autographs.
The award winning LMTA Music Outreach Program provides free or low-cost lessons with and LMTA teacher, instruments & their upkeep, educational materials, free tickets to music events, and performance opportunities to children who could not otherwise afford them. Using private donations, grants, frundraising activities, and modest fees paid by the student families, the MOP pays its teachers along with other operating costs.

Philip Daniel Biography
Originating from Lincoln, Nebraska, Daniel is a distinguished pianist and composer, acclaimed for his ability to evoke powerful emotions through his music. He holds a Masters degree in Piano Performance from the UMKC Conservatory and a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Hastings College. He has cultivated a musical voice that gracefully merges classical elements, cinematic qualities and minimalist characteristics. His main vehicle is the piano merged with electronics and percussion. Daniel’s compositions resonate with both seasoned musicians and casual listeners, creating a profound impact on a diverse audience. In addition to his solo projects, he has established a niche full-time career writing music for dance. He has worked with notable companies such as Jacob Jonas, Whim Whim, Salt Dance, and most recently the Kansas City Ballet Company to name a few. His music has been listened to over 100 million times and featured in countless films worldwide. He also maintains an active performing career, touring throughout the US in the fall and spring.
