Come quaff a few for a good cause! Philanthropic Pints at the Metropolitan Club benefits the Aubrey Rose Foundation, whose mission is to help families caring for children with life-threatening illnesses with a special focus on the family unit.
Founded in memory of Aubrey Rose, the Foundation provides support and help for those who seek to be lifted from the complexities of life here on earth and to find greater happiness in those things that could be.
Aubrey brought a great light into our lives. Help us pass that light along.
The Foundation strives to lift families from life’s complexities during a difficult time by providing emotional and financial support. Since its inception, the Foundation has donated more than $2 million to families with special-needs children.
The Aubrey Rose Foundation honors Audrey’s life with the following:
- Awarding educational scholarships for students who've made an impact on the people around them.
- Helping families with financial needs because of their children’s medical expenses.
- Brightening the lives of sick children by organizing toy-buying and holiday parties.
- Promoting educational awareness about the need for organ donations.
The Met will share half of the evening's proceeds with this wonderful organization, and cover your parking, too.
