Join Alamo Area Master Naturalist Jane Weeden for a walk in the park! We will begin by introducing participants to the basics of using iNaturalist to identify and document plants, birds, insects and other critters. We will then walk along park trails for about a mile as we document and identify as many species as possible!
What is the City Nature Challenge? Join the Texas Master Naturalists, San Antonio Natural Areas, Phil Hardberger Park Conservancy, Texas Parks Wildlife Dept and many others in a fun challenge this weekend, April 26-29 to see which city can document the most plant and animal species. It's easy to participate by joining an event or making observations on your own using iNaturalist! To find out more about CNC 2024 and how to download iNaturalist and visit: CNC-SA.org.
