About this Event

This event is run by the student community in the School of Architecture and Planning at UoA. This event is right for you if you want to:

  • Learn more about how other students experience while working through ethics applications in the university as part of their research requirements.
  • Grow the community and meet other PhD students (& reps) in the CAI faculty.
  • Join in on discussion about general doctoral student experience and research-related matters, and learn from each other.

We will start with a short presentation from a doctoral student who has gone through the process of ethics applications. Topics will include general understanding of ethics requirements, guidelines followed within the university, ethics committees , applying for ethics, timelines and amendments. The intention is to provide a personal experience from a PhD for other PhDs to navigate this process as part of their research.
