📢Calling PhD students eager to transform their research results into the next disruptive startup!Join us at the PhD BalticTeach Summer School, a three-day face-to-face school with a spotlight on the theme “Market and the Customer”. The PhD Summer School will provide an in-depth insight into one of the initial, yet most crucial steps at the beginning of the business start-up process – conducting a market analysis and identifying the target customer.
The school comprises engaging seminars and workshops, providing participants with a unique blend of theoretical insights and practical knowledge on market opportunity mapping, stakeholder analysis, customer identification and definition, and other related topics.
🎯PhD Summer School aims to:
-Build awareness of the customer's role in business;
-Develop an understanding of how customer needs shape potential product solutions.
The on-site school constitutes one of the three components of the complete learning module. Before the PhD Summer School, participants are required to undertake an individual two-month online learning course covering systems-thinking, sustainable materials, circularity, and challenge-based content. Following the in-person school, a one-month incubation period will feature inspiring online lectures and one-on-one mentoring sessions, providing school participants with assistance in preparing a practical plan for the development of their business idea. The total duration of the full training module is 150 academic hours.
