In the final 3 day Phase of the National Certificate in Strength & Conditioning (NCSC) course in Dublin, you’ll build on your knowledge and coaching skills from the Phase 1 Course. Phase 2 will explore more advanced methods of training and program design for elite level athletes. Key focus will be on strength & power development using complex training, recovery methods and energy system development (ESD). This Phase finishes with an athlete case study, showing you how to bring everything together from both Phase 1 & 2 Courses and apply it to your sport.The NCSC Course is designed to produce coaching professionals capable of working as part of a team or support staff in a Strength and Conditioning or fitness related environment. Course participants can begin with Phase 1, before progressing onto Phase 2 followed by their NCSC exam to become a fully qualified Strength & Conditioning coach.
