Come and meet other University of Birmingham PGRs whilst playing garden games in the grounds of Westmere House - your PGR Community Hub!About this Event
The University Graduate School supports postgraduates at the University of Birmingham. We offer a variety of academic, social and wellbeing activities throughout the year. We're running events throughout Welcome for postgraduate taught students (PGT) and postgraduate researchers (PGR). This event is for PGRs - look out for our other events in our PGR Welcome Collection!
We're putting on some PGR Socials in the gardens of the PGR Community Hub - Westmere House. All PGRs new and old are welcome to join us but we do ask that you register in advance.
We'll be keeping things relaxed with picnic blankets and a few garden games on hand as well as some drinks and snacks in stock - so you can relax and chat with new friends and old.
Feel free to bring along your own food and a picnic blanket to make the most of the space!

Westmere is located next to Winterbourne House on Edgbaston Park Road (G15 on the campus map). If you have any concerns about access, please get in touch to discuss.

- We aim to run this event with support and respect of individual choices about wearing face coverings and ask all attendees to respect the space of those that may wish to continue to reduce their close contacts
This event is open only to current University of Birmingham PGR.
PGR programmes include: MPhil, MMus, MRes, MA by Research, MSc by Research, MLitt, PhD, PhD with integrated study, EngD, DDS, MD, Higher doctorates and Professional doctorates.
Registration will close 15 mins before the event start time.
