About this Event
We now have a brand new, beautiful boardwalk on the South end of Bald Eagle! Many thanks to our friends at City of Greensboro Parks and Recreation for the amazing work, which was funded by a collaboration between the CIty of GSO and the VF Foundation. On Saturday Oct 25 starting at 8:30am we will need help removing the old boardwalk. The P&R staff will cut the old boardwalk into sections we can carry using 2-4 person teams. We need as many able-bodied hands as possible to make short work of a sizeable job. If you have enjoyed the renovated Bald Eagle Trail over the past few years, please join us!
BRING:
Work gloves, sturdy boots or shoes, long pants recommended to avoid splinters and scrapes, water to drink.
WHERE:
Park at Long Valley Road trailhead, which is easily found on Google Maps by above or by searching for "Brass Eagle Loop."
PARKING:
Please carpool if possible, as parking is limited.
